lyrics
Action, do you precisely belong to me? All this motion and such little questioning. Wait, ask what it takes to quit circling. I don’t know why I can’t keep from stumbling. Comprehend our common thread. Our connection’s limitless. Speaking is a part of it but taking steps means everything. Common sense or common lens? Progress is imperative. Dreaming is a part of it but forward steps mean everything. I can’t bare their pain so I take a stand for their sake but I can’t bare the weight so I never stand up straight. And I blame the pain. I can’t stand the blame. This nest is her mind; spinning around, streaming around mine. How could I let go? But I let go, slow. The scent of her heart; swimming inside, screaming inside mine. Its infinite glow is clear. I can see her in the dark. And in the light. And in the mind. And in the eyes. And in the heart. Glowing. Going. Bright eyes light sings through dark nights, cries, fights, rips through my eyes. Writes timeless lullabies, abides crimes. Timeless are your eyes. Common sense is coming since progress is imperative. Dreaming is a part of it but every step means everything. And it’s coming in like an endless sea. Taking everything and everything means every thing. Action, I know you precisely belong to me. Slow motion and endlessly questioning. Now I know what it takes to quit circling, and I know how I’ll keep from stumbling. Light sings through dark nights. Fights, rips through my eyes. Timeless lullabies. Timeless are your eyes.

Protest the Hero continues to be the best metal band, and dare I say best overall band, in the business. The entire Pacific Myth is incredible, as with every other PtH release. Worth every penny. Please please please come to Cincinnati, OH again. Brandon Yates
